Cornerstone Co-op invites applicants for the position of *Delivery Driver *to join our team on a full-time basis at our Wainwright Home Centre. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor. *What you?ll do:* · Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences · Provide efficient delivery of orders while maintaining the highest level of customer service · Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner · Keep accurate driver reports and ensure bills for accounts and deliveries to all locations are accurate · Assist customers in the yard that need home building supplies · Load, haul and deliver home centre items to customers · Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory verifications · Follow proper transportation regulations such as applying straps, wrapping pallets, etc. · Perform preventative maintenance such as daily inspections, greasing and refueling · Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties · Participate team safety meetings · Perform other duties as assigned *Why it matters: *We need you to lead outstanding Co-op experiences. *Who you are: * · You have a class 3 drivers licence with airbrakes and are able to pass a drug and alcohol test and provide a clean abstract · You demonstrate the ability to balance multiple stakeholders · You are physically able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry items up to 80 lbs · You have knowledge of home centre products · You demonstrate effective team leadership skills and have the ability to work well within a multigenerational, highly motivated team. · You?re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do · You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives *Who we are:* Here at Cornerstone, we provide meaningful and rewarding careers with the ability to learn and advance.
