Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Engineering mechanics. Plumbing technology/plumber. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Direct and control construction projects. Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities. Evaluate the operations of facilities and the included real estate. Plan and organize construction projects. Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Supervision: 5-10 people. Security and safety: Bondable. Driving record check (abstract). Vulnerable sector check. Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Driver's abstract.
