<p>Hello, I'm Maxime Somaglino, a recruitment specialist for temporary and permanent positions in engineering, manufacturing, and industrial sectors at Fed Manutech. <br>We are experts who speak your language. <br>We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and every step of your career.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in innovative manufacturing solutions, a machinist specializing in the fabrication and maintenance of molds for a permanent position located in the Greater Montreal area.</p><p>Under the direct supervision of the production manager, your main responsibilities will include: <br> <br>- Machining and assembling mold components with precision, ensuring compliance with strict tolerances. <br>- Actively participating in mold testing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance. <br>- Programming and operating conventional and CNC machine tools with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. <br>- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and adjusting equipment accordingly. <br>- Collaborating closely with internal teams to tackle technical challenges and optimize production processes.</p><p> </p><p>*********The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons: <br>- Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing. <br>- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts. <br>- Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.</p><p>The ideal candidate will possess: <br> <br>- A diploma in Mold Fabrication and Machining Techniques (DEP). <br>- At least 5 years of relevant experience, with expertise in the repair and maintenance of molds for plastic injection. <br>- Excellent knowledge of machining equipment and workshop procedures. <br>- Strong skills in reading blueprints and working in 3D environments. <br>- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities. <br> <br>Salary : <br> <br>Starting at $75,000 annually, depending on experience. <br> <br>Benefits <br> <br>Join a company that values its employees: <br> <br>- Life insurance, medication coverage, long-term disability, and travel insurance. <br>- 5 sick days per year after the probation period. <br>- 6 additional days off during the holiday season. <br>- Vacation according to industry standards. <br>- Free parking and participation in corporate events. <br> <br>Working Conditions <br>- Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (40 hours/week). <br>- A dynamic and stimulating work environment focused on innovation. <br> <br>Are you ready to take on this challenge? <br>Submit your application now and become part of a passionate team that places quality and precision at the heart of its activities! <br><br></p>- LocationMontréal, QC
