Job details
Reporting to the president, the technical sales representative is accountable for market development and sales of specialty plastics, chemicals and resins.
We are looking for talented, driven sales professionals that are willing to develop markets and identify niche opportunities in the Canadian/US manufacturing market.
Qualifications / The successful candidate will have:
* A University or college degree, or equivalent, in science and/or Business
* Comfortable with cold calling, developing cold leads in a B2B sales cycle
* Resilient, go-getter attitude
* Able to find clients and close deals
* Experience in technical sales, or equivalent
* Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
* Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain effective internal and external relationships
* You are self-directed, motivated, innovative, and have a desire to win and to develop the business
* You have strong organization skills in areas of time management and priority allocation along with a solid business and sales acumen
* Ability to learn and understand chemicals/plastics/resins industry

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
