The Manager, Art Direction will collaborate daily with the Manager, Studio, who is responsible for managing the in-house studio team. </p><p></p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Act as the RONA brand design authority</p></li><li><p>Co-lead a team of 6 designers - print and digital</p></li><li><p>Oversee the creative design execution of all elements related to the RONA brand, its sub-brands, and various programs across all channels (display, website, email, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Foster a strong creative culture and high quality standards in internal teams</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal teams in marketing, online experience, consumer experience, store design, private labels, etc. to define and deliver the best brand experience across the consumer journey</p></li><li><p>Lead major branding and graphic design projects in collaboration with our partner agencies</p></li><li><p>Act as a subject matter expert for design team members and provide training on new tools, technologies, and best practices</p></li><li><p>Support the Manager, Studio with process optimization and project assignment</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Competencies Needed </b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>At least 10 years of experience in art direction, with experience in digital and print design</p></li><li><p>At least 3 years of experience managing a team</p></li><li><p>Strong UX and UI design skills</p></li><li><p>Solution-driven leadership, with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills</p></li><li><p>Autonomy and ability to multitask</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure</p></li><li><p>Experience in retail (an asset)</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in Jira and the MacOS environment</p></li><li><p> Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC, html5</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, Outlook</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>By joining the RONA family, you?ll enjoy many benefits, such as:</span></p><ul><li><p>A childcare centre that can accommodate up to 78 children (Remove if not applicable)</p></li><li><p>A cafeteria with a delicious menu prepared by a dedicated chef, healthy options, as well as FARO Roasting Houses and Tim Hortons coffee stations</p></li><li><p>Electric car charging stations</p></li><li><p>A fitness centre, sports activities, and showers</p></li><li><p><span>Exclusive employee discounts, plus a 10% discount on store merchandise (at all RONA locations)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Benefits: retirement savings plan, annual bonuses, student incentive program, etc.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Career growth opportunities within the company</span></p></li><li><p><span>An inclusive and safe working environment</span></p></li><li><p><span>Promotion of work-life balance</span></p></li><li><p><span>An employer that?s involved in the community</span></p></li><l- LocationBoucherville, QC
