The Township of Perth East (the "Township") is recruiting one (1) Full-Time Operator/Labourer (3 month contract) in the Public Works Department. Position Overview: To maintain the high standard of the Township's rural and urban roads, streets and adjacent public property. To keep them in good condition for the safety and convenience of the public. Professional Responsibilities: Operates graders (for grading, snow ploughing, scarifying and ice blading), trucks (single axle and tandem), with snow plough, scarifying sander, water tank and dump attachments, loader, backhoe, sweeper, pickup truck, chain saws, wood chipper, other power and hand tools. Carries out construction, maintenance and repair services in rural and urban areas. Conducts roads construction including hauls, spreads and levels gravel,- LocationMilverton, ON
