*Job Summary:*
As the *Procurement Manager*, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, from sourcing and vendor management to contract negotiations and purchasing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Your role will be critical in optimizing procurement operations and aligning them with the company's objectives.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company goals, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
* Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
* Oversee the creation and execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
* Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Manage and track procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals and reporting on procurement metrics.
* Work closely with internal departments (e.g., Project Manager, finance, operations, etc) to ensure procurement needs are met and aligned with overall business objectives.
* Ensure the maintenance of accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and inventory data.
* Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes with vendors or internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor?s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract management, and vendor negotiations.
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and contract management.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
