*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our animal patients while supporting veterinarians in various clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary practices, particularly in laboratory procedures, and have a genuine love for animals. *Responsibilities* * Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. * Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. * Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. * Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and recovery. * Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. * Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. * Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. * Assist with the handling and restraint of animals during examinations or treatments. *Requirements* * Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program. * Valid Veterinary Technician license or certification (as applicable). * Experience in laboratory procedures is highly desirable. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Compassionate demeanor towards animals and their owners. * Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting animals when necessary.
