*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to animals. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will directly contribute to the health and well-being of our patients. *4pm to 12 midnight shift* *Duties* * Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. * Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. * Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. * Monitor animal patients before, during, and after procedures. * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. * Provide client education on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. * Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. * Handle animal restraint safely and effectively during examinations or treatments. *Qualifications* * Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program is preferred. * Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is a plus. * Experience in a veterinary setting is highly desirable. * Strong laboratory skills, with the ability to perform diagnostic tests accurately. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. * Compassionate demeanor towards animals and their owners. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
