Commonwealth Plywood Company, in business for over 80 years, owns and operates peeling mills, sawmills, specialized plywood and veneer assembly plants and distribution centers in Canada and the United States. The Husky Plywood Division, a manufacturer of plywood panels, is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the GTA, Western Canada and Midwestern United States ( Great Lakes region ). As an essential member of our sales team, you will help sell and market high-quality plywood that meets the highest industry standards. Reporting to the Vice President, the person in this position will play a key role in maintaining and improving our customer relationships, and in achieving the company's objectives. *What we offer : * · Full-time, daytime, Monday to Friday; · Starting salary $75 000 that will varie according to experience; Company car provided and travel expenses paid; · Continious training; · Cell phone and laptop provided; · Hybrid work between road and office; · Well-established distributor/client base. *Main responsibilities:* · Build and maintain strong customer relationships; · Participation in various trade shows and supplier fairs; · Collaboration and preparation of sales budgets; · Identify new business opportunities with our distributors; · Pricing and quoting our products; · Help customers find the best solution for their application; · Work with internal sales representatives; · Represent the company in a positive manner. *Qualifications and skills :* · Demonstrated sales skills; · 5 years of relevant sales experience (on the road); · Knowledge of woodworking materials; · Knowledge of natural wood panels and veneers, an asset; · Ability to meet sales objectives; · Ability to determine priorities and demonstrate negotiating skills; · Valid driver's license and passeport.
