*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in various clinical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the health and well-being of our patients. *Duties* * Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. * Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, ensuring accurate results. * Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian. * Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures. * Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. * Provide client education on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. * Handle animal restraint safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments. *Requirements* * Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program is preferred. * Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is highly desirable. * Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is a plus. * Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Compassionate nature with a genuine love for animals. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
