*Employer:* Bartek Ingredients Inc. *Position: *Production Supervisor, Specialty Chemicals *Terms of Employment: *Full-time / Permanent *Location: *Stoney Creek, Ontario *Employment Address: *421 Seaman Street, Stoney Creek, Ontario, L8E 3J4 *Hours of Work: *84 hours biweekly (36 ? 48 hours per week) *Language: *English *Benefits:* Eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or salary increases in accordance with company policy.Eligible for Health insurance, Dental insurance and RRSP. *Salary: *$ 43.13 CAD / hour *Contact: *Please send resumes to igor.ristevski@Bartek.ca and include ?Production Supervisor, Specialty Chemicals? in the email subject line. *Duties: * * Identifying, documenting, and investigating potential environmental and safety problems; * Ensuring that staff adhere to the health, safety, and environmental procedures of the plant; * Resolving work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality; * Reviewing, interpreting and evaluating process performance data and implementing any changes to maintain optimum performance of all process areas; * Overseeing daily work permitting for assigned areas; * Supervising, coordinating and scheduling daily activities of workers for assigned areas; * Preparing production and other reports to deliver and enforce daily/weekly/monthly department objectives; * Providing information for maintenance plans to ensure that maintenance and production objectives are met; * Co-ordinating work activities with other departments; * Training staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies; * Requisitioning/ ordering materials, equipment, and supplies; * Overseeing the safety of operations; * Ensuring the smooth operation of reactors, the Steam system, distillation column and other equipment; and * Acting as a Member of the Emergency Response Team. *Requirements: * * Completion of secondary school is required * Post-secondary education in chemical processing or sciences is required * 5+ years of experience as a senior operator is required * Several years of experience in the same company or plant is preferred * Operating Engineer Third Class certification or higher is required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $43.13 per hour Expected hours: 36 ? 48 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Profit sharing * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Night shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
