We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team and help us expand our market presence.
*About the Role*
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the building materials industry.
*What you'll be doing*
* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
* Sales Presentations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits of DeckMart products.
* Territory Management: Develop and execute a sales plan for the assigned territory, including setting sales targets and tracking progress.
* Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.

*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional customer service skills and sales aptitude.
* Strong problem solving and support skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* In-depth understanding of decking, railing, and outdoor living products is an asset.
* Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
