<p><strong>Job offer: Machinist / Electromechanic</strong></p><p><strong>Work location:</strong> <span>Quebec City, QC G1P 4M9</span><br /><strong>Job type:</strong> Full time<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> $25 to $35 depending on experience</p><p><strong>Job description</strong><br />We are looking for an experienced machinist / electromechanic to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, adjustment and fabrication of machine parts and tools.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Calculate dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.</li><li>Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.</li><li>Repair machine tools and machined parts.</li><li>Set up, adjust and operate conventional and computer-controlled (CNC) production machines/tools.</li><li>Adjust and assemble machine components and parts to meet specified tolerances.</li><li>Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Document and note any deviations from specifications and tolerances.</li><li>Verify dimensions of tools and machined parts to using precision measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, etc.).</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Relevant certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role.</li><li><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong><ul><li>Accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Sense of responsibility.</li><li>Effective interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.</li><li>Flexibility and ability to learn quickly.</li><li>Initiative and team spirit.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Screening Questions :</strong></p><ul><li>Are you currently able to work legally in Canada?</li><li>Are you willing to relocate for this position?</li><li>Do you live close to the job?</li><li>Do you have previous experience in this field?</li><li>Do you have the required certifications listed above?</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Health:</strong> Health care plan.</li><li><strong>Financial:</strong> Group insurance, life insurance, night premium.</li><li><strong>Other:</strong><ul><li>Free parking available.</li><li>Employer-paid apprenticeships and training.</li><li>Amenities on site place.</li><li>Travel Insurance.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Apply:</strong><br />Send your resume and cover letter to hr@kaayu.ca.
