Job details
Account Managers conduct business to business sales with independent and franchise hotels, health care and student housing. Account Managers are responsible for calling cold and warm leads, and closing deals ranging from $50,000 - $2,000,000. Account Managers are assigned a sales target to support their efforts and focus accordingly.
*Key Job Functions & Key Responsibilities:*
1. Sales
· Making roughly 30+ calls per day to sell a premium solution in deals ranging from $50,000 - $2,000,000
· Achievement of individual targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, as determined in tandem with Sales leadership
· Travel to client sites, conferences and tradeshows may be required throughout the year (Canada and the US)
2. Develop proposals and working quotes for potential and existing clients
· Work in tandem with internal departments to develop quotes for clients
3. Develop and Manage Key Relationships
· Internally with Purchasing, Project Mangers, and our Design team to ensure on time and accurate delivery of products and services to clients
· Externally with clients and vendors
*Experience & Educational Requirements*
* Minimum 3 years of sales experience with B2B or B2C Sales
* Experience selling furniture or FF&E products is required
* Proven track record with selling products
* Telemarketing or call center experience would be an asset
*Skills & Competencies*
* Strong negotiation and closing skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude to learn other programs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
* Driven, self-starting attitude with a willingness to learn
