With a focus on commercial and industrial projects across the GTA, this role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience and a passion for delivering high-quality work. You will play an integral part in ensuring project success, collaborating with a talented team, and advancing your career in a fast-paced environment. This position primarily involves work on job sites in *Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, and East York*. *Qualifications* * Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in construction or trades. * High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications are an asset * Own reliable transportation with the ability to travel across the GTA (vehicle must be in good working condition) * Experience in industrial construction is a *major asset* * Proficiency with construction tools and equipment (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, and measuring tools) * Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints * Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and standards * Valid WHMIS certification and Working at Heights training (or willingness to obtain prior to starting) * Possession of personal hand and/or power tools * G class driver?s license with a clean driving record * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) * Physical stamina to work long hours in various weather conditions, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance *Responsibilities* * Collaborate with trade professionals (e.g., framers, electricians, masons) to execute project tasks * Install and handle building materials such as insulation, drywall, concrete, and steel, among others * Operate and maintain a wide range of tools and equipment * Assist with construction layout and preparation based on blueprints and plans * Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on-site * Erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures * Perform site cleanups and ensure proper disposal of materials * Identify and resolve on-site challenges with minimal supervision * Maintain inventory of materials and communicate supply needs to supervisors * Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all company and legislated safety guidelines * Other duties as assigned by site supervisors or project managers *Requirements* * Reliable transportation to job sites across the GTA * Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights (with relevant certifications) * Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including potential overtime and weekend work * Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations * Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team *What We Offer* * Starting wage of *$27/hour*, with consideration for higher pay based on experience * Opportunities for career advancement and skill development * Regular performance reviews with potential for wage increases * Supportive and safe work environment, prioritizing employee well-being * Diverse and inclusive workplace culture *How to Apply* To apply, please submit your resume via Indeed.
