Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Scent free. Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Rural area. Tasks: Change diapers. Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Reference required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Flexibility. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Time management. Patience. Honesty. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
