*Position:* Delivery Drivers? FedEx Deliveries?Location: Scarborough, Cambridge, Belleville.?Multiple Hires. Full-Time Positions. Long-Term Contracts. The driver should own a minivan, Caravan, or SUV as estimated parcels to be 100-150 pcs. We also accept drivers renting the vehicle *Per package pay: * Small package*-$ per package negotiable* Big packages of more than 60 lbs or 4 ft*-$ per package negotiable* *Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. *Duties* * Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Load and unload freight, ensuring all items are secured properly during transit. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries. * Assist with inventory management as needed, including organizing and tracking delivered goods. *Qualifications* * A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable. * Familiarity with freight handling, automotive repair, and heavy equipment operation. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. * Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight. * A clean driving record with no major violations is preferred; candidates must be able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
