Established in 1966, Red Hat Co-operative Ltd. is the central packaging and distribution facility for local independently owned greenhouse operations. Employing approximately 170 staff at peak, our 100,000 sq. ft. facility utilizes a combination of manual and automated systems to receive, package and ship produce across Western Canada. Position Summary Reporting to the COO, this position is responsible for the complete human resource function, including participation in the development of policy and procedures, labor relations, recruitment and retention of employees and training. This role works closely with Management, Supervisors and the Payroll Officer to ensure proper design and implementation of the human resource function.
