Plumbing Nerds has an opening for a full-time *Plumber or 3rd-5th year apprentice* to join our team. As one of our service plumbers you will diagnose and repair residential/light commercial plumbing systems, and lead our customers to informed and confident buying decisions. We are seeking a candidate with a *strong work ethic, great communication skills, friendly and outgoing personality, and a willingness to learn and lead.* Base salary with *uncapped earning potential through bonuses.* *We offer:* * New trucks with updated equipment * Competitive salary * Incentive program * Company uniform Responsibilities: * Various tasks such as installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial plumbing systems * Ability to assess and diagnose residential and commercial drain problems * Working knowledge of plumbing code * Criminal clearance letter * Clean driver?s abstract * Required to clean residential and commercial drains via Power flushing * Operating drain cleaning equipment such as mechanical snakes, flexshafts and cameras * Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner * *Plumber must have sales experience * * Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available on job sites * Follow safety procedures and guidelines while on the job * Keep your truck stocked and tidy * Attend sales training and be open to learning sales techniques * Perform other duties as assigned by the lead plumber Requirements: * *Licensed or minimum 3-5 years proven experience* * Strong work ethic and willingness to learn * Great communication skills and friendly, outgoing personality * Must be willing to be on-call, including evenings and weekends * Openness to sales training and previous sales experience a plus * Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces * High school diploma or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * plumbing: 3 years (required) Work Location: On the road
