We are process oriented in our work and finding the right candidate to continuously improve our culture. *Structural Engineering Designer/Detailer* Job Description: We are seeking someone to join our team to design/detail a wide variety of projects from the initial design phase through to the on-site contract administration. Candidates shall be able to prepare structural working drawings & construction details, and specifications, in a collaborative and team environment with a focus on quality control. The candidate should be self-motivated, sincere, conscientious and detail oriented with strong communication skills in a professional manner. Candidates, in addition to participating in design activities, should have sound organizational skills and enjoy working on technical aspects of structural projects in a fast paced and supportive environment. Must be highly proficient and experienced with, Revit and AutoCAD software (latest edition) and have working knowledge of with MS Office productivity software. A junior to senior level of familiarity with the relevant standards, Ontario Building Code and knowledge of building science and structural detailing will be an asset, along with a strong motivation for continual learning. This position will lead to progressively increasing responsibilities with the capacity to work on multiple projects as part of the growth plans of the company. *Job Qualifications:* * Bachelors in Civil/Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technologist or equivalent * 5+ years civil/Structural engineering experience * Knowledge and experience producing 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD in a BIM environment * Experience in civil detailing using Autodesk Civil 3D an asset * Require knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite * Demonstrated excellence in design and /or technical realms * Knowledge of quality control methods and management * Knowledge and application of standards and applicable building codes * Experience working in teams and contributing to all phases of the project * General understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications * Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative, critical and pragmatic thought * Strong focus on quality and the ability to check your own work and work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule * Field experience on construction sites, conducting general reviews for compliance with drawings and specifications and writing reports * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Good technical report writing * Ability to function with minimum supervision * Good planning and organizational skills * Team player * Commitment and dedication to client service and technical excellence *Salary:* * We offer competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits package, Salary is based on experience, qualifications and drive for success. *Location:* Windsor, Ontario *Travel:* Yes.
