Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Hot. Non-smoking. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Clean the crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Hand harvesting vegetables. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Cut horticultural crops. Type of crops: Bell peppers. Cucumbers. Tomatoes. Zucchinis. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours.
