*Overview* We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers while fostering their personal growth and development. *Responsibilities* * Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. * Plan and implement educational and recreational programs that cater to different age groups. * Educate campers on important skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving through structured activities. * Foster a positive camp culture by promoting inclusivity, respect, and cooperation among campers. * Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns. * Assist in the management of daily camp operations, including setting up equipment and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces. * Act as a mentor and role model for campers, encouraging them to explore new interests and develop their skills. *Skills* * Demonstrated experience working with children in a camp, educational, or recreational setting is mandatory. * Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor?s program, Early Childhood Education (ECE), or other related programs in education is an asset. * Previous experience as a Sport Couch is an asset. * Ability to lead and facilitate various activities including sports, arts, and STEM, following a predetermined schedule. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages. * Ability to educate campers effectively while making learning enjoyable through creative approaches. * Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple activities simultaneously while ensuring camper safety. * A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working in an outdoor environment.
