Our client in the Metal Fabrication industry is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Detailer to join their team on FT and permanent basis. In this role, you'll collaborate with the planning, production & sales department to measure, assess & sketch structural layout and details for new and existing tanks, bridges, and equipment. Location: Barrie - 100% on-site. Key Responsibilities: Interpret architectural and structural drawings, analyze blueprints and documentation for estimates, and use CAD systems accurately. Enter materials list data for fabricators, create/manage work orders, and coordinate with Quality Assurance and Production to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Troubleshoot drawing issues, develop drawings from concepts, assist in project estimates, and provide guidance for complex engineering projects.
