<p>The private retirement residence. Les Tours Angrignon is ideally located near many amenities, allowing residents to enjoy the benefits of urban life while being within walking distance of Angrignon Park.</p><br><div>POSITION DESCRIPTION:</div><p>We are currently looking for a person to fill a full-time cook position to assist our chef in preparing meals for residents. Experience in large volumes is an asset. <BR><BR>The residence is very well served by public transportation. Stable schedule and shifts that always end early.<BR><BR>Schedule: full-time, daytime, every other weekend.</p><br><div>ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>Ensure that the use of foodstuffs is optimized in compliance with quality standards</li><li>Perform any other related tasks</li></ul><div>Food Services</div><ul><li>Assemble plates of food</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork</li><li>Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards</li><li>Peel and cut vegetables for meals</li><li>Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen</li><li>Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards</li><li>When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas</li></ul><div>EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>Training certification (MAPAQ)</li><li>A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent</li><li>Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in catering</li></ul><div>BENEFITS:</div><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Free meals in the dining room</li><li>Recognition program</li><li>Uniform provided</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Sick days and time off for family obligations</li><li>Consistent schedule</li><li>Welcome and integration Program</li></ul><div>JOB STATUS:</div><div>Permanent: Full Time</div><div>JOB SCHEDULE:</div><div>Day time</div>- LocationLaSalle, QC
