*Job Summary*
We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our optometrists in providing excellent eye care services to our patients.

We have full-time and part-time positions available and we are looking for motivated and energetic Optometric Assistant to join our team! We are a specialty clinic with two Dry Eye Spa and Myopia management for our pediatric client base and specialty Contact Lenses. We have specialized training programs to help you grow as part of our dynamic team along with company events, Extended health care, Vision care and Bonuses! *Responsibilities:*
- Assist Optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and preliminary examinations
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as visual acuity and color vision tests
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Assist with frame selection and retail sales of eyewear in our Eyewear Boutique
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office
*Skills:*
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
- Strong customer service skills with a background in retail sales
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic patient care procedures
As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality eye care services to our patients. You will work closely with the Optometrist to ensure smooth operations in the office and deliver exceptional customer service. This position requires a combination of medical office experience, retail sales skills, and a passion for patient care. * Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling inquiries.
* Assist optometrists during examinations by preparing patients and providing necessary instruments.
* Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
* Educate patients on proper contact lens care and eyewear options.
* Process sales transactions for optical products and provide exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
* Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and insurance verification as needed.
* Support pediatric patients with a friendly approach to create a comfortable environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 ? 40 per week
