Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Supervisory Experience. Supervision: More than 20 people. Contractors. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Leadership for safety excellence course. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Project Management Professional (PMP). Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. MS Outlook. Area of specialization: Project management. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines.
