Demands, duties, qualifications Reporting to the Regional Director of Physical Infrastructure Support through the Team Lead Supervisor, the primary purpose of this position is to provide a wide variety of Carpentry maintenance tasks for the technical based infrastructure in the Labrador Health Center and other surrounding facilities in Labrador City, NL. Qualifications: Graduation from high school or equivalent;Completion of a Journeyperson level certificate in the Carpentry discipline;Two years experience in public building maintenance preferred.Experience in using a computerized work order system;Valid class V driver's license;The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct. Duties: (Included but not limited to) Performs a variety of maintenance, repairs, installation and troubleshooting carpentry related items within the Labrador Health Centre and other sites as required;Requires a good knowledge of the National Building Codes of Canada;Works with some independence and may be required to perform complex tasks related to their expertise;Responsible for the storage and assignment of tools and ordering of inventory and required supplies;Required to assists other trades people and maintenance activities as required;Aligns, adjusts and calibrates equipment according to specifications;Be willing to work overtime and on-call as needed;Performs other related duties as required.- LocationLabrador City, NL
