*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. *Duties* * Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. * Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with local codes. * Use basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. * Operate power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks. * Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. * Conduct heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. * Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times. * Weld pipes as necessary for specific installations or repairs. *Experience* * Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. * Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. * Familiarity with various power tools used in plumbing tasks. * Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding work environments is essential. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
