*Full Job Description* We're expanding our team and are looking for full time and Part time security officers. These positions have the potential to become permanent full-time positions. As a member of EyeQ Security, the selected candidate will be in responsible for enforcing policies and procedures relating to the safety and security of people and property, keeping an eye on entrances and exits as well as building grounds, reporting violations, fire, accidents, theft, and vandalism, and helping with other day-to-day security issues. Transit security officers are also responsible for keeping employees and customers. Their duties include: *Responsibilities* * *Patrolling*: Officers patrol transit systems on foot, by bike, in company vehicles, or in groups. * *Monitoring*: Officers monitor activities, control access, and respond to emergencies. * *Collaborating*: Officers work with law enforcement agencies and other divisions within the transit system. * *Providing assistance*: Officers provide information to callers, greet visitors, and direct lobby activities. * Ensure that all health and safety policies are being adhered by the customers and employees, including intercepting any arguments or disputes that may occur in the transit terminal or on busses. *Who You Are* * An individual who is always alert and aware of the surroundings. * An effective communicator who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders *Requirements* * Must possess and be able to maintain Provincial Security Guard License * Completion of High School or general education degree (GED) * Education or previous experience as a Law Enforcement or Security Officer or other related security employment is an asset * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and is a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision * Ability to function effectively in stressful and/or critical situations * Customer service/team-oriented individual who is assertive, reliable and discrete with a high level of awareness * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office * Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders EyeQ Security Services offers a challenging, team-oriented environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development.
