*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring smooth accounting operations. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial processes.
*Duties*
* Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
* Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial information and reports.
* Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
* Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions.
* Execute account reconciliation tasks to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
* Utilize accounting software such as Sage or Xero for various financial tasks.
* Support the finance team with additional administrative duties as needed.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a clerk or in a similar finance-related role.
* Strong knowledge of account analysis, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks and/or Zoho Books.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
