Food Service Workers required for Long Term Care home! Preference will be given to individuals who are certified or currently enrolled in the _Food Service Workers - or willing to enroll _from a recognized institution; and/or have successfully completed their Food Handlers Certificate from Public Health Unit and is current. Vaccination, Vulnerable Sector Search and TB testing required _*STUDENT Friendly!! *_ * DUTIES INCLUDE: setting tables, clearing tables, portioning and plating meals for residents, preparing tea/coffee; warewashing, garbage and linens removal, preparation of a snack cart. etc * Must be able to read, write and accurately follow written and verbal instructions. * Must demonstrate proper food preparation and presentation for a variety of cultural preferences. * Must be knowledgeable about the Long-Term Care Act * Must be knowledgeable of special, therapeutic, and texture modified diets * Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for majority of shift. * Must be able to work accurately, quickly, and safely. * Must be an effective team player that works well with others. * Must be able to work and communicate effectively with long-term care residents. Must be available weekends and evenings. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $17.20 per hour Shift: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift Work days: * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGreater Sudbury, ON
