Our versatile and experienced team comprises of skilled engineering professionals, a fabrication workshop, CNC machinists, dedicated hydraulic specialists and a devoted technical support team. *Duties:* * Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications * Experience with Flux-Core Welding is a MUST * Fitting Experience is a MUST * Layout reference points and patterns * Perform light maintenance on welding equipment such as replacing contact tips and nozzles, replacing liners, replacing drive rolls on wire feeders and exchanging shielding gas bottles * Set up, adjust and fine-tune voltage and wire feed settings to achieve desired quality results * Select and transport metal stock to the work area manually and/or using an overhead crane * Ensure welds conform to specifications as outlined in procedures * Move structures for assembly/rigging during the final commissioning phase * Keep accurate records as required by ISO/API company procedures * Comply with company safe work practices * Willingness to be jack of all trades if asked to do so *Experience/Training Requirements:* * Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred * Ability to satisfactorily complete all required pre-employment testing *Required Skills:* * STRUCTURAL WELD TEST IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW- preference will be given to those with fitting and welding experience * Ability to multi-task and move between tasks as required * Ability to self-motivate in a repetitive working environment * Hydraulic Experience is an asset * Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing * Ability to follow directions * Fitting/tacking as per drawing will be an asset * Working with ERP and CAD system, * Punctual and reliable * Team player *Weight Handling:* * *Up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)* *Schedule:* * *Monday to Friday* *Work:* * *No public transportation is available* *Job Types: Full-time, Permanent* *Salary: $23-35* *Benefits:* * *Casual dress* * *Dental care* * *Disability insurance* * *Extended health care* * *Life insurance* * *Vision care* *Experience:* * *Welding: 2 year flux core (required)* * *FCAW & MIG: 2 years (required)* * *Overhead Crane: 1 year (required)* *Job Types: Permanent, Full-time* *Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour* depending on qualifications Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Willingness to work in multiple areas in shop where needed? * Willingness to work outside if required.
