Grey Goat Hardware is a quickly growing wholesaler of Glass and Glazing Hardware. Operating two warehouses in Toronto and Montreal, GGH is expanding into Calgary. A Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. They manage inventory levels, supervise staff, and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure and organized environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Inventory Management:* Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate restocking efforts to ensure inventory accuracy. * *Staff Supervision:* Lead and train warehouse personnel, assign tasks, and evaluate performance to maintain productivity. * *Operational Efficiency:* Develop and implement processes for receiving, storing, and shipping goods, aiming to optimize space utilization and workflow. * *Safety Compliance:* Enforce adherence to safety regulations, conduct safety training, and address any hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment. * *Equipment Maintenance:* Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, scheduling repairs and replacements as necessary. * *Cross-Department Communication:* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shipments and address any logistical issues. *Qualifications:* * *Experience:* Experience in warehouse operations, including supervisory roles, are often preferred. * *Skills:* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic computer applications; knowledge of safety standards and regulations. Bonus Pay: Bonus Pay (Will be determiend) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-05-01- LocationCalgary, AB
