Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 - $500,000. Tasks: Identify customers' needs . Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Promote sales to existing clients. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Recommend products or services to customers. Identify and solicit potential clients. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
