*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services that enhance the health and appearance of pets. Previous grooming experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. *Duties* * Bathe, dry, and brush pets to ensure cleanliness and comfort * Trim and style fur according to breed standards or customer specifications * Clean ears, clip nails, and perform other grooming tasks as needed * Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment by disinfecting tools and work areas * Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and aftercare instructions * Handle pets gently and confidently to ensure their safety and comfort during grooming procedures * Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize service flow * Assist with heavy lifting of animals or equipment when necessary *Skills* * Strong customer service skills to build positive relationships with pet owners * Ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and professionalism * Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods * Attention to detail to ensure precise grooming results * Good communication skills for understanding client requests and providing care instructions * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated animal lovers with a keen eye for grooming details. Prior experience in pet grooming is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. We value professionalism, compassion, and a strong work ethic in all our team members.
