Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Licensed practical/vocational nurse training (LPN, LVN, RPN, Cert., Dipl., AAS). Work setting: Willing to relocate. Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Administer medications. Conduct specimen collection. Monitor nutritional intake. Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects . Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Take vital signs. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures. Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate.
