*Job Summary* We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Apprentice to join our team. If you are passionate about diagnostics, precision repairs, and providing high-quality service, we want to hear from you. *Duties* * Assist technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections * Learn to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics for vehicle systems * Support in welding and assembly tasks as required during repair processes * Use mechanical knowledge to help with engine repairs, electrical diagnostics, and other mechanical systems * Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards * Assist with heavy lifting of parts and equipment safely during repairs or installations * Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and updates under supervision *Skills* * Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in an automotive service environment. * Basic automotive repair knowledge * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment * Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning automotive systems and diagnostics * Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Willingness to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments * Excellent customer service skills to support positive customer interactions * Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person- Location Thornhill, ON
