This role will work closely with technical teams, operations, and subject matter experts to ensure procedures are clear, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.</p><p>This is a <strong>6?12-month contract opportunity</strong> ideal for someone experienced in technical writing within industrial or engineering environments, particularly those familiar with digital procedure management systems.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li> Develop, write, and update operational and technical procedures using <strong>Hexagon Accelerator KMS e-Procedure</strong> </li><li> Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and SMEs to gather accurate process information </li><li> Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly procedures </li><li> Ensure all documentation meets internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices </li><li> Maintain version control and document management within the KMS system </li><li> Review and edit existing procedures for clarity, consistency, and compliance </li><li> Support continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation and knowledge management </li><li> Assist with implementation and adoption of e-procedure workflows across teams</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li> Proven experience as a <strong>Procedure Writer / Technical Writer</strong> in an industrial, mining, energy, or engineering environment </li><li> Hands-on experience with <strong>Hexagon Accelerator KMS e-Procedure</strong> (strong asset / required depending on role level) </li><li> Strong understanding of document control and quality management systems </li><li> Ability to interpret technical/engineering information and translate it into clear procedures </li><li> Excellent written communication and attention to detail </li><li> Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams </li></ul><h3><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h3><ul><li> Experience in mining, heavy industry, or large capital projects </li><li> Familiarity with ISO standards or regulated environments </li><li> Experience supporting digital transformation or document management system rollouts </li><li> Training or change management exposure related to procedure adoption</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Health and Dental Benefits.</li><li>Company Pension Matching,</li></ul><p>We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
