<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong>Summary: </strong></b>The Driver-AZ is responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Work Hours: </strong></b>Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Job Status: </strong></b>This posting is for an existing vacancy.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Seniority Level: </strong></b>Entry Level</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Employment Type: </strong></b>Full-time</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Compensation: </strong></b>This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $30 to $32 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $54,600 and $71,600 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Responsible for delivering granite, marble and quartz slabs.</li><li>Performing local deliveries with multiple stops, and interacting with customers.</li><li>In charge of maintaining a legal and accurate log book.</li><li>Follow safety procedures in all aspects of the job.</li><li>Responsible for reading the Bill of Lading and picking sheets.</li><li>In charge of positioning the blocks and ties, straps, chains and binders for cargo securement.</li><li>Able to assist in loading, unloading, and securing of cargo</li><li>Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force</li><li>Able to lift and transfer 65lbs</li><li>Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed</li><li>Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder</li><li>Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch</li><li>Able to work at elevated height of 72" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment</li><li>Able to work at lowered height of 6" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment</li><li>Perform various warehouse duties as needed.</li><li>Perform additional duties as required and or requested.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Requirements:</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>High School Education preferred.</li><li>One (1) year of verifiable driving experience.</li><li>1 year of verifiable driving experience with heavy duty vehicles.</li><li>Must be able to pass a skilled test (driving test).</li><li>Must be able to pass CVOR pre-employment requirements.</li><li>Bilingual plus, but not necessary.</li><li>Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL.</li><li>Driver abstract and CVOR report required.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>This role has the following physical demands:</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.</li><li>Able to lift and transfer 55lbs.</li><li>Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.</li><li>Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.</li><li>Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.</li><li>Able to work at elevated height of 72" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.</li><li>Able to work at lowered height of 6" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.</li><li>This is a safety-sensitive position.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Benefits:</strong></b> MSI offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support and reward our employees.
