Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). DZ class license. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Type of trucking and equipment: Roll-off truck. Stone slinger. Concrete mixing. Dry bulk. Dump truck. Extended length tractor-trailer combination. Hydrovac. Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Surface mining dump, off-highway. Tow truck. Tractor-trailer. Tractor-trailer A train. Tractor-trailer B train. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
