Calgary-based Buffalo Rail and Infrastructure has purchased Canfor Pulp Products Inc.’s 300-acre industrial property in Taylor, B.C. with plans to develop a $50M distribution hub for energy, agriculture, and forestry industries. The first phase of development is expected to create 100 construction jobs and 30 full-time jobs.

The Government of Alberta is allocating $63M over three years for the renovation and expansion of the W.J. Elliott Trades Building at Olds College. Planning for the project is underway, with construction anticipated to begin in early 2025.

The Government of Alberta is committing an additional $55M to the University of Calgary for a new multidisciplinary science hub.
