The region of Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean will receive around $99M over four years from the Government of Quebec to support municipal drinking water system, road, and green energy projects. Among others, the Ville de Saguenay is receiving $43M.

The Hôpital de Chicoutimi awarded five contracts valued at a total of $20M for its future parking garage. Of these contracts, four were awarded to local companies that will carry out the project.
