*Job description* *Skills and Qualifications:* * 3-5 years sales experience in the automation industry or below * Previous sales experience required * Computer proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and CRM software * University/College degree in a related discipline preferred * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities * Highly responsible and reliable * Customer service focused * Ability to manage time effectively with minimum supervision *Specific Responsibilities:* * Complete prospecting and follow-up calls to market Sort business * Proactively building relationships by conducting regular sales calls/visits to existing customers * Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within CRM software on a daily basis * Work in conjunction with Suppliers (Sick, Turck, LED) and sales team by completing joint calls * Complete customer demonstrations to maximize customer experience and product awareness. May also include a trial/demo unit, to enhance customer experience * Plan and deliver a variety of workshops * Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events as required * Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, showcasing account planning/activity to be review with Sales Manager on a regular basis * Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly basis * Follow company policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Extended health care * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Work from home Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road- LocationToronto, ON
