Assignment: Part-time 0.30 FTE Educational Assistant position Duties to commence as soon as possibleand will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year Working one on one with a diverse needs elementary student in a classroom and individualized settings Qualifications and/or Assets: Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs would be considered an asset Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to be flexible in assigned duties Calm and patient approach to solving problems Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusiveenvironment Commitment to ongoing professional growth Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
