Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Animal hospital. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Keep records of animals treated. Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Clip animal nails. Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals. Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs. Cats. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
