Pilates Instructor(Casual)Located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, West Vancouver is a vibrant community on the North Shore and home to parks, beaches, and to sports, recreation and arts amenities. Our dedicated staff deliver services, operate facilities and run the programs that enhance the well-being of our community.The District of West Vancouver offers a wide range of health & fitness activities including a dynamic and diverse Group Fitness Schedule at our both our West Vancouver (WVCC) and Gleneagles (GE) Community Centres. We are seeking a certified and experienced casual Pilates instructor who can teach mat Pilates at a variety of levels (Intro., Intermediate and Advanced). Current shifts include daytime subbing at WVCC with the potential for evening and/or weekend classes at WVCC and/or GE. Experience with older adults, or the ability to adapt to all ages would be considered an asset.This position offers competitive wages and "in-house" instructor training workshops. Other fitness formats (yoga, group fitness, weight training) would also be considered assets. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to demonstrate their teaching skills.
