An Office Assistant will play a important role in providing support to General Manager. This position involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the college.
*Responsibilities:*
* Deliver support to Management to smooth running of college operations.
* Provide general administrative and clerical support to the team.
* Prepare and format various correspondence and documents.
* Answer incoming phone calls, schedule meetings, and assist visitors.
* Handle inquiries and requests via phone, email, and mail in a polite and professional manner.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office area.
* Perform additional duties as directed by the Senior Management Team.
*Requirements and Qualifications:*
* A graduate from an accredited University or College.
* Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a related occupation.
* Proficiency in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook).
* Familiarity with integrated telephone systems.
* Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Mississauga, ON L5R 0H2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
* DCS / DEC (preferred)
Experience:
* Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
* Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
