We are currently seeking a new position, Assistant Property Manager, to join our Calgary team. Our team takes pride in creating a safe and comfortable homes for our residents while fostering a supportive work environment for our employees.
The successful candidate would become an integral part of our team in managing approximately 290 residential units and several commercial units. We are looking for a team member who is friendly, accountable, and take initiative in his/her work.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist with daily administrative tasks related to property management, including data entry and file management.
* Supervise leasing and rental renewal processes, ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and property uploaded and entered into management system
* Analyze rental rates and occupancy to maximize revenue opportunities
* Support with rent collection and move-in /move-out inspections
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and concerns timely via phone and email, demonstrating excellent etiquette
* Collaborate with property management staff to ensure efficient operations and timely responses to maintenance issues
* Asist in overseeing repairs and maintenance, ensuring that they are performed safely and efficiently
* Assist in maintaining inventory and arranging required purchase orders
* Assist in staff scheduling and other operational events
* Uphold apartment?s cleanliness and security standards and policies
* Prepare reports and assist in the analysis of property performance metrics.
*Requirements*
* Proficiency in Spectra or similar property management software is preferred.
* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
* Previous experience in administrative roles or property management is advantageous.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong customer relationship management skills, ensuring positive interactions with tenants and vendors.
* Familiarity with office procedures and practices, including filing systems.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
