About the PositionDuties are to maintain all equipment to required standards and provide support for preventive and failure based maintenance as required by the plant needs.The successful candidate must be willing to take after hours trouble calls and respond to the facility as needed. This is an hourly unionized position which involves shift work, some weekend work and call outs after hours.Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret drawings, blue print, schematics to determine work proceduresInstall, align, dismantle machinery and equipmentOperate hoisting & lifting devices to position equipment/parts in order to repair the equipmentInspect & examine machinery/equipment to detect and investigate malfunctions Install, troubleshoot & maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and power transmission systemsAdjust machinery, repair or replace defective partsClean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance work/PM'sOperate hand tools, grinders, welding machines to fabricate or fix defective parts All other duties required including helping the Electrical crews as needed- LocationCalgary, AB
